What counts as a content gap?
A search your competitors show up for and you don’t. Evergreen AI only counts it once it has checked the live results and confirmed a real competitor ranks while you’re missing.
Do I have to pick my competitors?
No. On your first run it finds sites that rank for the same searches you do and skips the household names. You can add or change competitors whenever you like, and each site includes three competitor slots.
Is it free to try?
Yes. Your first gap run on a site is free, with no credit card. It checks a sample of what it finds, and a paid plan checks the rest and keeps looking for new gaps.
Which AI assistants does it check?
Claude and Google AI Overviews today. For each question it shows whether you were named, and which sites were named instead.
Do I need Google Search Console?
No, but it helps. Without it, Evergreen AI estimates where you rank from third-party search data. Connect Search Console and it uses your real rankings instead, and shows you searches where Google shows you but AI never cites you.
